Woodstock for Capitalists

by Scott Pape |May 3rd 2009

My day in pictures:

35,000 people attended this years Berkshire Hathaway Annual General Meeting. People started lining up at 1:00 am the night before. It was like a rock concert, or at least something that Gene Simmons from KISS would put on.

Americans. Running up stairs.

Bill Gates, so close I could punch him for making Windows XP.

I got seats third from the stage. I think this is what they call a mosh pit, although the people sitting around me were all in kahaki's, drinking starbucks, and checking their crackberry's.

What we all came to see: the Warren and Charlie show. Five hours of wisdom from the best investors that ever lived.

Buffett signed my copy of his book snowball. A nice end to the day.
