Last week I caught up with Glen Pizzolorusso – a self-confessed ‘subprime rock star’. The twenty-something New Yorker became a subprime broker just as the boom was beginning. Before it would end Glen had bought a couple of million-dollar mansions, owned five exotic cars, partied with B-list celebrities, earned a hundred grand a month … and ultimately blew the lot.
